A gum/gingival barrier is used to protect the gums during in-office teeth whitening, dental abrasion, and other cosmetic procedures. It is extremely light and has great sealing capabilities. The angled tip makes it easier to apply the barrier. Self-curing and light-curing options are available for the gum barrier resin. The gum barrier provides adequate protection and isolation during the whitening procedure. The gum barrier can be readily removed at the end. 

User Guide:

The following are the steps for the application of the gum barrier.

1. Dry the gums.

2. Put in the dental cheek retractor to show the area of application.

3. Apply the 2-4 mm viscous barrier along the gingival margins and cover the 1 mm subgingival area.

4. Use curing light for 10-40 seconds for the setting of the gum barrier.

L POP TOOTH GEM ADHESIVE 3M

Self Etching Bond Gem adhesive helps to bind the tooth gem for best retention. They are safe and easy to use; dental grade. A single pop is sufficient for an application with one client- multiple gems. The L pop gem adhesive has self-etching properties, meaning lasting results 

User guide:

Clean the surface of the tooth with cotton/gauze

Apply etch gel, wipe away after 30 seconds 

Open the L-POP, use small amount on the tooth where gem will be and cure with light

Apply flowable composite and place the tooth gem

Wipe any excess composite before you cure

Cure the gem for 2-3 min on all sides for a final and long-lasting bond

Best dental bond made by 3M, can be use with any brand of etch or composite. 

Use these lollipop looking sponges to remove gel placed on the teeth, dip in water and then re use for client. You’ll save on gauze and it’s safe for your client.

The ENLIGHTENED shop provides premium-quality silicone cheek retractors, which are a necessary tool for SAFE teeth whitening. The retractor gently pulls the cheek without causing any stress or trauma to the oral tissues. The silicone retractor shields the tongue, lips, and cheeks from the whitening light and whitening gel. The available colors are blue, light blue, teal and pink. The retractor can be disinfected with 135 degrees at high pressure with repeated cycles. 

Cleaning Instructions:

1 Using a damp cloth, wipe the retractor and remove any visible debris. 

2 Soak for 10 minutes in a disinfecting solution with a pH of at least 4. 

3 For Sterilization Boil the retractor at a high temperature for 5 minutes. 
Repeat steps if necessary  

Manufacturer’s Note: Retractors can be disinfected at 135° temperature. High temperature and high pressure disinfection can be repeated
